Agricultural Science Students Participate in a "Egg Lab"

Second year Agriculture students participated in an egg lab on Tuesday where they learned how to grade eggs according to industry standards. Students were able to verify that store bought eggs matched their grade, and also had to opportunity to compare fresh eggs to grocery store eggs.  In their evaluation, agriculture students took notes on yolk quality, size of the air cell, and shell quality. Holden Kent is pictured using a light to evaluate the interior contents of an egg.
