The FUSD Fashion Class is getting ready for competition season as well as the spring fashion show. One of the events for competition is the Recycle/Redesign event. FUSD Fashion students will be competing against other fashion students from around Arizona on how they transformed recycled elements in to a wearable garment. The students must make an oral presentation to a panel of judges and be prepared to answer questions on their project. Medals are awarded to the top designers.
After the spring competition is over, the students will be getting ready for their annual fashion show at Florence High School’s Cafeteria on Thursday, April 28 in the evening. The Fashion students will be showing what they have created as their “Fashion Line” during the show and will include their recycled item from competition. The FUSD Fashion Show is open to the public, so be watching for more information about how to purchase tickets.
